C2A Statement

Statement: Site Closure / Supported Employee Redundancies

C2A has today had to make the devastating decision to make 21 supported employees redundant.

This decision was not made lightly. As an organisation, economic challenges meant that our XX site was no longer viable. We have made cutbacks in order to retain as many employees as we can, and we are deeply saddened by this outcome.

At C2A, we value each and every member of our team. We will provide wraparound support to them and their families.

We are hoping to redeploy some staff to our other sites, and we will also be working with National Disability Services and local DES providers to identify other employment opportunities to seamlessly transition our people.

To ensure none of those impacted are left in the dark, we will remain in clear communication into their next chapter and provide as much support as possible.

This will be the only round of redundancies the organisation plans to make in the foreseeable future and our priority is to stabilise and grow into the future.

If anyone has any questions, please contact (XXX) at (XXX)
